Before bringing in your device, there are a few things that you can do to test your battery or charging port.
- Plug your device into a wall charger. Often USB chargers do not provide enough power when charging from a laptop or other devices.
- Test your charger. Try connecting your usb charging cord to a different charging block. If this works, then the problem is not your device.
- Restart your device. Often a “Soft Reset” will do the trick.
- Check the charging port for lint. Often lint can accumulate in the charging port of your device from being in and out of your pocket. shine a light in to see and if there is lint, use a clean toothbrush to fish it out.
